Chief Technology Officer

We are looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of Live Bela. You will communicate with employees and customers to ensure our Bela's technologies are used appropriately. Strategic thinking and strong business acumen are essential in this role. We expect you to be well-versed in current technological and blockchain trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts. Your job will to maintain, improve, and build upon Bela's blockchain as well as overseeing the development of Bela-related projects, software, and plugins.

A Typical Week

• You will work with the CEO to plan out software and code projects
• You will lead the blockchain and full stack developer in putting these plans into action
• You will stay on top of trends in the cryptocurrency community in order to keep Bela on the front edge of the blockchain sector
• You will join the developers in writing code
• You will be chiefly responsible for making sure that software and code enhancements are delivered free from major bugs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience.
• Extensive knowledge, appreciation, and experience in writing code in C++, Python, and other relevant coding languages
• Experience building and debugging complex systems in a team environment
• Experience managing a small team of employees or project colleagues
• Experience with modern browser technologies
• Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and empathy
• Self-awareness and a desire to continually improve
